Colorado native and Denver local, Simon Rodriguez, received a big surprise after using his Visa card during a promotional period. After being automatically entered for a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco next week, he won and it was a dream come true for the die-hard Denver Broncos fan. “Words can’t describe how excited I am,” he told Visa. “I bleed orange and blue.”
With one swipe, Rodriguez won a trip for two including tickets to the Super Bowl, travel accommodations, a $500 Visa Gift card and $1000 for spending money during his three-night stay in the City by the Bay.
Visa is expecting to host more than 100 winners of various promotions to the Super Bowl next week. “It’s a special experience seeing the joy our cardholders get from this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” says Lori Goehring, senior director of Global Client Integration and one of the Visa employees greeting the guests next week.
