VISA PROTECT DISNEYLAND PARIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CONTEST

1. Promoter

Visa Europe Limited, a company registered in England (company no. 05139966), with its registered office address at 1 Sheldon Square, London, W2 6TT, United Kingdom (hereinafter, "Visa"), will carry out the Contest in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Visa has engaged: (i) Chillimint (Europe) Limited, with its registered office address at Elgon Warwick Road, Leek Wootton, Warwickshire, CV35 7QR (company no. 06900260) to assist with the administration of this Contest, including drawing of winners; and (ii) Sid Lee Sport Limited, with its registered office address at Floor 2, 201 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5AB (company number 10186055) to assist with prize fulfilment, but Visa remains solely responsible for the Contest. 

2. Entry Period

The Contest opens for entry on 1 November 2025 and closes at 19.30 GMT on 20 January 2026 (hereinafter, “Entry Period”). 

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Individuals receiving the Visa Protect Holiday Gift Package from 1 November 2025 (hereinafter, the “Holiday Package”) who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. The Contest is not open to any employee or contractor of Visa, any Visa group company or affiliate, or their immediate family members, or those directly or indirectly involved in the organization or execution of the Contest. Visa reserves the right to exclude any user from participation if it considers that the rules of these Terms and Conditions or their nature and motivation have not been fully or partially complied with. The Contest is not open to any person who is subject to financial or other governmental sanctions or who appears on any sanctions list, including the UK Sanctions List available at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-uk-sanctions-list). Visa reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who is or becomes subject to sanctions or is added to any sanctions list at any time. Visa reserves the right at any time to require proof of eligibility in such form as Visa reasonably considers necessary.

4. How to enter

From 1 November 2025, Visa will be posting Holiday Packages to recipients which includes a holiday gift package and a QR code with instructions on how to enter the Contest. To participate in the Contest, eligible entrants must do the following during the Entry Period: (i) be a recipient of the Holiday Package; and (ii) scan the QR code and submit responses to the survey; and (iii) complete the online entry form. Participation in the Contest is free of charge.

5. Survey Submission Guidelines

Entrants must comply with the following guidelines when completing the Survey (hereinafter, “Submission Guidelines”): 

(i) entries must not be, or contain any material which is, or may reasonably be considered to be, threatening, defamatory, inflammatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, profane, abusive, pornographic, sexually explicit or suggestive, violent, derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, discriminatory in any way or otherwise unlawful; 

(ii) entries must not include any confidential information or personal information concerning any person; 

(iii) entries must not defame, misrepresent or make disparaging remarks about Visa or its products or services, or about other people, companies, products and services; 

(iv) any content submitted must be the entrant’s own original work and must not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other rights of any person; and

(v) by entering the Promotion, each entrant confirms that they know of no information, facts or circumstances related in any way to the entrant that could reasonably be considered damaging, detrimental or embarrassing to Visa by virtue of the association between Visa and the entrant arising from entry into the Promotion.

6. Entry and Prize limits

A limit of one (1) entry per person applies to this Contest. Entries submitted in excess of the limit will be disregarded. Visa reserves the right to disqualify anyone found to have entered more than once. 

7. Prize

There is one prize to be won in this Contest consisting of the following prize elements for the winner and three (3) guests (hereinafter, “Prize”): two days in Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park; 1 night at a Disney Hotel (1 room, 2 double beds); gift card; photopass; and an airport transfer. 

8. Prize conditions

The following conditions apply to the Prize: 

a) The Prize does not include any additional costs and expenses other than their delivery to the winner and guests, so Visa does not assume any costs associated with attending the experience or enjoyment of the Prizes (by way of example but not limitation, the Prize does not include the payment of flights).

b) The winner of the Prize must provide three travel dates within 6 months of receipt of Visa’s email regarding their winner status. The winner and guests are solely responsible for ensuring that they can travel at the appointed times on the relevant dates. No alternative times or dates are available. The winner will forfeit the Prize if the dates do not fit their preferences. 

c) The choice of all Prize elements, including airport transfers, hotels and event tickets, will be at the sole discretion of Visa. All dates are subject to availability.

d) The winner and 3 guests are solely responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports and any required visas, ESTAs or other travel documents or permissions necessary to permit entry to the destination country. 

e) All elements of the Prize must be used by the winner and guests in the same itinerary. The winner and guests are not entitled to receive compensation for any unused elements of the Prize. 

f) The winner or guests will be asked for a credit card on check in at the hotel to cover any extras and therefore must be able to provide one and cover these costs. 

g) The Prize excludes all costs and expenses incurred by the winner and guest that are not expressly set out above, including: (a) additional transportation or transfers; (b) travel upgrades; (c) additional overnight accommodation; (d) meals and beverages; (e) travel and medical insurance, visas, ESTAs and any other required travel documents; (f) COVID-19 or other health-related testing, screening, immunisation and quarantine costs (if applicable); (g) discretionary spending; (h) hotel room service and in-room charges; and (i) tips and gratuities.

h) Prizes are subject to all applicable Terms and Conditions and policies of the relevant hotel, ticket and venue providers. The winner and 3 guests must comply fully with such Terms and Conditions, codes and policies and all laws and regulations applicable to the Prize. Visa will have no liability to the winner or 3 guests if the winner and/or guests are unable to receive the full benefit of the Prize or are denied entry to, or are asked to leave, any venue or transport service as a result of a failure to abide by the applicable Terms and Conditions, codes, policies, any applicable law or as a result of inappropriate behaviour.

i) The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. However, if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond Visa’s control, the Prize (or any element of the Prize) may be varied or swapped for a suitable alternative in Visa’s discretion.

j) By participating in this Contest, you understand and agree that you are not being granted any rights (including any advertising, marketing or sponsorship rights) in relation to Disney or any Disney property, including Disneyland Paris and shall not conduct any related marketing or advertising campaigns, promotions or other activities.

9. Winner selection

All eligible entries will be entered into a random draw to select the winner in the week commencing 26 January 2026. The winners name will be drawn at random by Chillimint from all eligible entries.

10. Winner notification

The winner will be notified by email the week commencing 26 January 2026. Visa will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner, but it is the winner’s responsibility to look out for the notification. 

11. Prize claim

The winner must claim the Prize within 30 days of Visa’s winner notification by providing all information requested by Visa for the purpose of verifying the winner’s eligibility and fulfilling the Prize. This includes guests contact details to [email protected]. 

12. Travel bookings

All travel bookings will be arranged by Visa or its appointed agent, who will contact the winner to make the necessary arrangements after verification of a valid claim. The winner must provide all personal information requested for the purpose of making the necessary bookings. This will include the personal details of the winner and their guests, and the winner must have permission to provide the personal information of the guests. All relevant tickets, passes, vouchers and other paperwork will be provided by post or email in good time prior to departure. The travel party must present valid paperwork on arrival at the relevant hotel and venue, failing which travel and entry may be refused. The winner and guests are solely responsible for the safekeeping of documentation.

13. Forfeiture and substitution

Visa reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternative winner if the winner fails to claim the Prize or fails to provide any requested information or documentation by the claim deadline, or if Visa has reason to believe that the winner does not meet the eligibility requirements or has otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions. The alternative winner will be selected using the original selection process and must claim the Prize within thirty (30) days of the date of the win notification.

In the event of force majeure, Visa reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Prize of equal value and characteristics (or greater).

14. Fraud

In the event that Visa detects any anomaly or suspects that a participant is preventing the normal development of the Contest, illegally altering their participation through any procedure, whether technical or computer, it may unilaterally disqualify said participant. Visa has enabled the necessary technological measures to detect fraudulent, anomalous or intentional actions that seek to alter the mechanics of the Contest or obtain a Prize illegally or in violation of the Terms and Conditions. 

15. Cancellation and variation

Visa reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the Contest and/or these Terms and Conditions if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, including if there is any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law or if variation, suspension or cancellation is necessary due to an event outside Visa’s reasonable control. In the event of cancellation, Prizes may be awarded to winners drawn from entries received prior to cancellation.

16. Disqualification

Without limiting Visa’s options, Visa reserves the right at any time to disqualify entries or entrants that Visa regards as being in breach of these Terms and Conditions, any applicable laws, any terms referred to in these Terms and Conditions and/or the spirit of the Contest.

17. Publicity

By entering the Contest, all entrants hereby authorize Visa, in the event of a win, to be entitled (but not obliged) to announce their name and/or social media handle on Visa’s websites and social media. Entrants may also be asked (without further reward) to take part in reasonable publicity connected with the Contest. 

18. Disclosure of Winner’s details

By entering the Contest, each entrant acknowledges that if they are a winner, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Visa (see below). In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that Visa may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s entry, to the Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. By way of example, this may happen where Visa is required to demonstrate that it has awarded any advertised Prizes. To request disclosure of winner details, enquirers must submit a request to [[email protected]] within one (1) month following the end of the Entry Period. Details will only be disclosed (if permitted by law) after the Prize has been awarded.

19. Severance and waiver

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms and Conditions will not be affected. Visa’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions will not constitute a waiver of that provision.

20. Processing of Personal Data

Entrants acknowledge that any personal data processed in connection with the Contest will be processed in accordance with Visa’s Privacy Notice, which is available at www.visa.co.uk/legal/global-privacy-notice.html. The names of the winner and guests will also be provided to the relevant transport, hotel and event operators to facilitate the travel and event bookings. For more information about how these third parties will process personal data, please see their privacy notices, which are available on their websites. 

21. Liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, Visa, Visa’s group companies and affiliates and Visa’s agents, distributors and other representatives (hereinafter, “Promotion Parties”) will not be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering the Contest or taking up the Prize, except where caused by the breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Promotion Parties or their negligence. The Promotion Parties accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Disney is not liable for anything arising out of this Contest including the fulfilment of the Prize. So far as is permitted by law, Disney and the Promotion exclude responsibility and all liability arising from: (i) any closure or material change to the Disneyland Paris; and (ii) any act or default by a winner or their guest resulting in the winner or their guest being unable to activate the Prize and/ or any elements of it. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any person’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for any matter in respect of which liability cannot be lawfully limited or excluded.

22. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all applicable taxes (if any) arising from acceptance of the Prize.

23. Applicable Law and Disputes

The Contest and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Any website on which these Terms and Conditions are posted, is only intended to be accessed from Europe and where permitted by law. Visa makes no representation that materials relating to the Contest are appropriate or available for use at other locations. Access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is strictly prohibited. 

Subject to the paragraph above, if there is a dispute about the Contest or these Terms and Conditions, Visa’s decisions are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any document referred to in these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions take precedence to the extent necessary to resolve the conflict.
