Meet the artists

Visa commissioned more than 20 artists from six continents to create visual representations of their home countries, as a way to celebrate the diverse traditions and stories that make football universal.

Alejandro Parrilla

Alejandro Parrilla is a Madrid-based illustrator whose work draws on his nostalgia for the colorful culture of the 1990s. With a background in fine arts and graphic design, he creates imaginative, vibrant illustrations infused with playful energy and personal storytelling.

Filipp Jenikae

Filipp Jenikae is a German artist living between Münster and Paris. Though he has no formal art training, his creative roots trace back to his family’s deep love of art. After studying law, political science, and business, he turned to painting as a form of expression. His work blends personal narrative with bold, contemporary aesthetics.

Alice Piaggio

Alice Piaggio is an illustrator from Genoa, Italy, who grew up in the coastal village of Bogliasco. She studied Fine Arts in Genoa and earned a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from ISIA Urbino. Her work blends delicate composition with a keen sense of storytelling.
