Meet the artists

Visa commissioned more than 20 artists from six continents to create visual representations of their home countries, as a way to celebrate the diverse traditions and stories that make football universal.

Spain

Alejandro Parrilla

Alejandro Parrilla is a Madrid-based illustrator whose work draws on his nostalgia for the colorful culture of the 1990s. With a background in fine arts and graphic design, he creates imaginative, vibrant illustrations infused with playful energy and personal storytelling.

Filipp Jenikae

Filipp Jenikae is a German artist living between Münster and Paris. Though he has no formal art training, his creative roots trace back to his family’s deep love of art.
