How is UEFA foundation for children supporting affected people by the Ukrainian crisis?

UEFA Foundation for Children is working with a range of different local organisations to reach children in Ukraine. Through your donation you will be supporting the ICRC, International Committee of the Red Cross , towards their initiatives supporting those affected by the Ukraine crisis in Ukraine and across Europe.

How can I donate via QR code?

Open the camera app on your mobile phone and hover the camera over the QR code to ‘scan’ the QR code. Once you’ve done this, a link/URL should appear. You then click on this URL, which will take you to the fundraising page which will take you to the fundraising page to proceed with your donation. You can then select the amount you want to donate and check out to pay.

Which kind of data do I have to submit to make a donation?

You will have to provide your first name, last name and a valid e-mail address alongside your payment information. This information is required to process the payment by our payment partner, Collection Pot and shall be processed in accordance with their privacy policy found here . You will receive a donation receipt via E-Mail.

How can I donate via the POS terminal?

The donation via the Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal works in the same way as a contactless transaction. Donations at PoS terminals will be handled by Visa volunteers. You can choose your own amount to donate or select the pre-selected amount. When you tap your card, your mobile or wearable, the donation will be processed as a usual contactless payment.

Why has Visa chosen to work with Collection Pot?

Visa has partnered with Collection Pot , as it is an easy and safe way to accept digital donations. Collection Pot is an online platform registered with the Fundraising Regulator, which enables charities, individuals, or groups to raise funds for a charitable cause. Collection Pot will provide their established infrastructure for donating via QR-codes. Visa will refund all transaction fees related to the card payments (QR-codes and POS terminals) to guarantee that the UEFA Foundation for Children receives the total fundraised amount.
