Visa is proud to be a worldwide partner of the London 2012
Olympic and Paralympic Games. Visa plays an integral role in the
Games, having been a committed sponsor for 25 years. Visa is also
the presenting partner of Team 2012 – 1,200 British athletes who
are striving to compete at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in
2012. This is the first time that such a large group of athletes
has been supported in this way.
What does Visa’s sponsorship entail?
At every Olympic and Paralympic Games, Visa, as the exclusive
payment card and official payment network of the Olympic Games,
creates and manages the entire payment system throughout all Games
venues. Visa has been a worldwide Olympic Games sponsor since 1986
and a worldwide Paralympic Games sponsor since 2002.

Expiry dates
All Visa cards with an expiry date of October 2011 or later will
be accepted by the London 2012 ticket application website. Any Visa
cardholders with a September expiry date will receive a replacement
card before the ticket registration deadline of 26 September. This
means that all Visa cardholders will be able to apply for tickets
before the 26 September deadline.

first-come, first-served basis, and any ticket registration taking
place by 26 September 2011 will have an equal chance of success in
the ballot.
